Symposium Venue
The symposium will take place in the Congress Centre Academia at Stará Lesná village. The Congress Center (CC) Academia is situated at the foot of the Lomnický peak in the eastern part of the Vysoké Tatry Mountains in Slovakia. It's located on the border of the Tatra National Park, in a quiet surrounding a short way off the towns Tatranská Lomnica and Starý Smokovec.

Transport
Institute is located at Sienkiewiczova 1 street, in Bratislava.
Trains: There are regular intercity train links between Bratislava and Poprad-Tatry as well as between Prague and Poprad-Tatry.
The train connection between Vienna and Bratislava is scheduled in one hour intervals (duration one hour)
From Poprad-Tatry train station there is the line to Tatranská Lomnica operated by the Tatra´s electrical trains.
The taxi service from Tatranská Lomnica to Congress Centre Academia is the most convenient connection (we can also help with transport in late evening arrivals).
Airlines: Bratislava has an international airport with several direct connections (London, Birmingham, Dublin, Rome, Milan, Brussels, Paris, Oslo, Copenhagen, Moscow, etc.). There is a possibility to land in Vienna International Airport. The regular bus shuttle operates between Vienna international airport and Bratislava main bus station.
Poprad -Tatry has an international airport also. The connections will be announced later.
Accommodation
Accommodation is arranged directly in the Congress Centre Academia. Please note that there is a limited number of single rooms at the Centre. Single use of double rooms is possible, but will depend on the number of participants of the conference. If the request for single rooms will exceed the capacities of the Centre, an alternative accommodation would be arranged in a neighboring hotel in 10 min walking distance.
Weather in Slovakia
At the middle of October the weather can be nice as well as changing. One has to be prepared for a sudden weather change.
Currency
The official currency is the Euro.
Language
The official language of the Symposium is English. All presentation must be in English.
